My name is Nina Russo and I am an aspiring photographer. Photography is something I was always interested in but got serious about it in 2008 when I received my first Digital SLR camera as a gift. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion for creating art with my camera. Photographs have always been a cherished possession for me and I want to create these captured memories for others. Right now I am practicing and learning as much as I can. I would love to do a free photo shoot for you or someone you know. Just contact me for more info! (ninaruphoto@gmail.com) Hope you enjoy this little space for me to show off my photos!!

For my sister
I planned a trip to visit my sister and nephew in Tennessee while her husband was deployed. Lucky for her he got to come home for a couple of weeks and it happened to be whie I was there so we got to do a few family shots. I can never take enough pictures of my nephew. I think I took 1,200 over eight days I was there. I picked a few of my favorites to post. And when I say a few I mean 17 :D Hope you (and my sister) enjoy them!!
A few photos for Sarah
I just came back from a lengthy vacation. First to Tennessee to visit my sister, brother-in-law and nephew and then to North Carolina to visit some friends. While I was there I got to see my friend Sarah and take a few shots of her and her adorable son. Unfortunately when I got back I got sick and have been feeling terrible for the last week and hadn't had a chance to go through the photos. So here you go Sarah!! I picked a couple of my favorites and I'll be sending you the rest. I hope you enjoy them! Can't wait to take family portraits for you guys in July!

Sand Princess : )
Wow! It has been too long since I posted. I lost my mojo for a few weeks and spent the last couple of weekends assisting on wedding shoots. Fortunately I grabbed my camera for a day on the beach with my friend and his beautiful daughter. She was completely enamored with the sand [if only such a small thing could entertain us as adults!] Here are just a few after exploring new techniques with photoshop. Enjoy!!
